Truck Specialized Parking Solutions (TSPS) is pleased to announce they have expanded their real-time parking availability services to Wisconsin’s I-94 corridor, effective December 1. This installation connects to Michigan’s I-94 corridor, which has utilized the TSPS system since 2014.
The first phase of integration will begin in early 2017 with four outfitted rest areas and two signs displaying available parking. Truckers can access parking availability information through apps, in-cab systems, websites and variable roadside signs. MORE CONTRACT INFO? TIMELINE $$$
QUOTE from Colorado DOT: “Wisconsin is committed to the safety of truckers driving through our state, carrying goods important to our economy. TSPS has proven the efficacy of their services in Michigan and we are eager to bring that technology to our roads and rest areas. This is also an important step to reducing the cost of freight mobility and emissions from commercial vehicles.”
TSPS President Rick Warner shared their enthusiasm, “We look forward to partnering with WSDOT and MDOT to create a seamless experience for drivers along the I-94 corridor. We are also grateful to both organizations for this team effort.”
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place December 15 at LOCATION to celebrate this new chapter in safety for Wisconsin.
